Automatic Wash System

Washco International can create fully automatic wash systems from standard modules that can be added together to create a wash system that is suitable for each application. This system can then be added to as the requirements of the application change over time.

Components that can be used to create a Washco International wash system can include:

Pre-Wash

The Pre-Wash section utilises a low pressure high volume to wash any loose debris from incomming crates.

Typically, the Pre-Wash water temperature is at ambient temperature, although steam injection or electric heater can be used to heat the water to desired temperature.

Label Removal

The label removal section utilises wash water at very high pressure and temperature (80 degrees Celsuis) to literally strip labels from the sides of crates as they pass the nozzles.

Note: If you application has labels on all 4 sides, please consult the Washco International sales team, as a special side shift section must be added to the wash system.

Wash Section

The wash section uses heated wash water at high pressure to clean crates as they pass the nozzle jets. Chemicals can be added to the wash water to aid the cleaning process. Please refer to the options list below.

Rinse

The rinse section uses water at high volume and low pressure to rinse the wash chemicals from the crates.

This can also be replaced by a demand fresh water rinse that can be located in the main wash section.

Inspection

An open inspection station allows an operator to inspect the wash quality and adjust the wash parameters accordingly.

Blow Off

The blow off section has a fan blowing large volumes of air through a series of air knives that literally blow off any excess water from the crate as they leave the wash sections.

Dryer

The dryer section utilises a smaller fan blowing air passed a steam heat exchanger to heat the air as it is blown into a custom hot air box. As the crates enter, slots in the box aim the hot air directly at the crate, removing excess moisture from the crate before it leaves the system. The hot air of the dryer also heats the crate, which allows the crate to continue to dry even after it has left the dryer.
